Guidelines

Tiger's Eye: A Journal of Poetry is a biannual 64-page, saddle-stitched digest. In addition to the individual work of poets, each issue features two selected poets with several of their poems and a three-page interview.

There are no limitations on subject or form. We look for originality and distinct imagery. Sonnets, free verse, blank verse, haibun, haiku, ghazals, sestinas, experimental, etc., are all read with equal enthusiasm.

Please send hard copy submissions only, no e-mailed poems will be considered.

Your submission packet should contain:

1. A cover letter with a short bio (3 to 5 lines).

2. Up to five original poems typed in single-space format.  Personal information: name, address, telephone, and e-mail address should appear in the upper right-hand corner of each page.

3. A self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE) for notification communiqué. We do not return submissions, so make sure you keep the originals.
