Submission Guidelines

Annual Journal Guidelines


Submissions accepted September 1 through January 31

Send 3-5 poems. Any length, any subject and style. We do consider the long poem, but please keep it to five pages. We welcome formal poems, as well as free verse and experimental.

Submissions should include a 2-3 line bio and either a SASE or an email address for our response. We are not interested in where you've been published or what degrees you hold; we are interested in who your are and what you have to say. Short bios are preferred.

E-mailed submissions should be in one continuous document, including the cover letter.

Simultaneous submissions accepted, but no previously published poems.




Annual Chapbook Competition Guidelines


Submissions accepted April 1 through August 31

Winner receives $100 and 25 copies.

Send 20-25 pages of poetry, a title page, table of contents, and an acknowledgements page, all with no identifying information. Send a second title page with your name and contact information.

Submit entire manuscript, e-mail address or SASE, a 2-3 line bio, and a $15 reading fee. 

Chapbook submissions are accepted from April 1 through August 31.

Prize: $100 and 25 Copies
